Since 1996, Cairo ICT has been where the Middle East and Africa does its technology business: heads of state, policymakers and industry leaders on one floor. What began as a regional gathering is now the platform where the region's digital agenda gets set.
Dear experts, colleagues, and friends,
Last year, gathered in this very hall, our slogan was “AI Everywhere.” We looked around and saw the horizon. We saw the potential of a technology that promised to rewrite the rules of our existence. We spent the last year building strategies, drafting laws, and laying the fiber-optic nerves of this nation.
But potential, my friends, is not enough. A strategy on paper does not feed a family; a law in a book does not secure a border; and an algorithm in a lab does not grow an economy. The time for theory has passed. We are done asking “What if?” Today, we start asking “How?”
We are here to see the identity that unlocks services in seconds. The security that never sleeps. The infrastructure that powers our ambitions.

From “AI Everywhere” to “AI in Action”
In 2025, the 29th edition ran under the banner “AI Everywhere” and filled the halls with 161,280 visitors and more than 580 exhibitors, the strongest turnout in the show's history. Global Brands named Cairo ICT the Most Influential Technology and Innovation Exhibition and Conference in the Middle East and Africa. The award confirmed what regulars already knew: this is where the region's technology decisions get made.
For the landmark 30th edition, the theme becomes “AI in Action”: four days where governments demonstrate live services, operators switch on new networks, and enterprises sign the deals that move the region from pilots to production. Five platforms run side by side: Cairo ICT, PAFIX, AIDC Expo, Connecta and the Innovation Arena. One roof, one badge.
Under the auspices of H.E. Raafat Hindi, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, the 2026 edition runs 7-10 November 2026 at the Egypt International Exhibition Center, New Cairo.
